We Move Your Existing App Onto ZipLoom For You

For people who'd rather not do the technical part themselves. One working app, moved onto ZipLoom and live on hosting in your name, by a person, with you in the loop.

How It Works

The Terms

By taking the qualification check and paying, you agree to these terms.

What You Get For $497

  • We move one existing app, from one GitHub repository, onto ZipLoom.
  • It goes live on a hosting account in your name, with a provider we choose to fit how your app is built (for example Cloudflare Pages or Vercel). You pay your hosting provider directly.
  • We set up the ZipLoom project and connect your code and hosting. You enter your app's passwords and keys yourself, in ZipLoom, while we guide you.
  • Your first deploy runs through ZipLoom's security checks.
  • We switch your domain over with you, at a time you choose. Your old site stays up until you confirm the new one works.
  • A short kickoff call and a handoff call, about 30 minutes each.
  • 7 days of help after go-live with problems caused by the move.

Which Apps Qualify

  • Built with a JavaScript tool such as Next.js, React, Vue, Nuxt, Svelte, Astro or Angular, or a plain HTML website.
  • Working today, with people able to use it.
  • The code is on GitHub and you can sign in to that GitHub account.
  • Up to about 20 pages or screens.
  • Your database, if you have one, stays where it is (for example Supabase or Firebase). We connect the app to it; we don't copy data.
  • No extra pieces such as background jobs, scheduled tasks or separate servers.
  • You can sign in where your domain is managed, or you don't use a custom domain.
  • Apps outside these limits can still move with us. Tell us what you need and we'll send a custom quote.

What Isn't Included

  • Fixing an app that doesn't work today, or bugs that existed before the move.
  • Copying data between databases, or changing your database structure.
  • Code changes, new features, redesigns, speed or SEO work.
  • Fixing issues ZipLoom's security checks find in your code. We show you what was found; you fix it, or we quote for the fix.
  • Email setup. We don't change your email. If the domain switch means moving your domain's settings, we copy your existing email records first and check them with you.
  • More than one app, one environment or one repository.
  • Hosting, domain and third-party service costs.

What We Need From You

  • Access to your code through the ZipLoom GitHub App.
  • A hosting account in your name. We'll help you open one if you don't have one. The link we send may be a referral link that earns ZipLoom a commission, at no extra cost to you.
  • Your app's passwords and keys, entered by you directly in ZipLoom. Never send them to us by email, chat or any form.
  • Someone who can sign in to your domain settings during the switch-over. Using your own domain needs a paid ZipLoom plan (Solo or higher).
  • Time for two short calls, and replies to our questions within 10 business days.
  • The onboarding form, filled in completely after you pay, so we have everything before we start.

Refunds

  • Full refund any time before work begins. Just ask.
  • Work begins at the kickoff call, or when we first make a change in your repository or accounts, whichever comes first.
  • If your onboarding details show the app is outside these terms, we tell you before work begins. You choose a custom quote or a full refund.
  • If a problem on ZipLoom's side stops the move, you choose: we keep working on it at no extra cost, or a full refund.
  • Once work has begun, the fee is earned. If the move pauses for something outside these terms, you choose: accept a quote, or stop there with nothing more to pay.
  • Anything we've already deployed stays live in your accounts.
  • The 30-day refund on ZipLoom plans applies to plan subscriptions. This one-time service follows the terms on this page.

Scheduling And Limits

  • There is no fixed start or finish date. How long a move takes depends on the app, so any estimate we give is an estimate, not a deadline.
  • We book your kickoff after your onboarding form arrives, in order of purchase and as our schedule allows, and keep you updated by email.
  • 20 slots in total. One White-Glove move per account; more apps are quoted separately.
  • If we don't hear from you for 30 days after work has begun, we close the job. Anything already deployed stays live.
  • The price is $497 USD, paid once through Stripe.

Responsibility And Limits

  • Keep your own backup of your code, data and settings before the switch-over. Your current hosting stays as it is until you confirm the move.
  • The move is complete when your app works at its new address and we've told you so by email. The 7 days of help start then.
  • Any change to what's included is agreed in writing first (email is fine), with any extra cost quoted before we do it.
  • We can decline a job, or stop it before work begins, with a full refund.
  • We aren't responsible for outages, charges, limits or changes at your hosting provider, domain company or any other service your app uses.
  • We aren't liable for lost revenue, lost data or downtime. Our total liability for this service is limited to the amount you paid for it.
