Accessibility Basics Check
Catch the common mistakes a parser can see in your HTML. This is a basic automated check, not a full WCAG audit.
Free, no account. Passive checks only — the same requests a browser or DNS lookup makes.
What This Checks
- A language attribute on the html element
- Images with no alt attribute
- Form fields with no label, aria-label or title
- Links and buttons with no text or accessible name
- Positive tabindex values, and a viewport that disables pinch-zoom
Why It Matters
These mistakes stop screen-reader and keyboard users cold, and they are quick to fix once you can see them. Generated interfaces often skip them because nothing on screen looks wrong.
A basic automated check cannot judge colour contrast, keyboard flow, focus order or whether your alt text is meaningful, and it only sees the HTML your server sends. A clean result here does not mean your site is accessible — a full audit still needs people using assistive technology.
Check Every Deploy, Not Just Today
Every ZipLoom deploy runs a dependency vulnerability audit and a live check of your headers, TLS and DNS — and ZipLoom can scan your source code on demand or on every commit.
